Escolas internacionais
O ensino é sobretudo em inglês, com currículos britânicos, Bacharelato Internacional ou Montessori consoante a escola. As propinas variam bastante e as listas de espera são reais nas zonas mais procuradas, por isso vale a pena contactar cedo e visitar mais do que uma.
Ensino público
Gratuito e aberto a residentes, organizado em agrupamentos por zona de residência. A matrícula faz-se junto do agrupamento local, e as crianças mais novas costumam adaptar-se depressa à língua. Para muitas famílias é o caminho mais rápido para uma integração verdadeira.
Aprender português
