Greene's College Oxford (Algarve)

Greene's College Oxford is a tutorial college founded in Oxford in 1967, describing itself as the city's oldest tutorial college. Its main Portugal campus is in Estoril, offering full-time and part-time tuition for students aged 14 to 18, including A Levels, A Level retakes, International A Levels, GCSEs and IGCSEs, taught in small groups with ratios between one-to-one and one-to-three. The college has around 200 tutors, holding an average of 2.5 academic degrees each, and states on its own site that it holds a Guinness World Record for the youngest student to complete a full A Level programme, at age 8. Greene's has recently opened a new hub in the Algarve, at Rua Cabeço Esteves, nº 45, in Mexilhoeira Grande (Portimão), with an exclusive pre-visit event held on 28 July 2026. By its own account, the college has already enrolled a cohort of Algarve-based students for the current academic year, with more expressing interest, though the Algarve address is currently tied to this promotional visit rather than a staffed, year-round campus; day-to-day full-time teaching remains centred at Estoril. The college trades as Greene's College Oxford through Greene's Educational Services Limited (NIPC/NIF 980751292), and also operates campuses in Lisbon and Oxford, plus an online sixth form.
