Educan, Algarve

Educan, Algarve is an international learning centre in the historic centre of Loulé, housed in a restored late 19th century building. It teaches the Pearson Edexcel International British Curriculum to pupils aged 5 to 16, and is also an accredited Pearson examination centre, running exam sittings, mock exams, exam preparation and post-examination analysis for internal and external candidates. The school structures its day in two parts. Core subjects from the year group's curriculum are taught in the mornings, from 9am to 1pm, using a hands-on approach aimed at real-life application. Afternoons, from 2pm to 3:30pm, are given over to a wide range of clubs open to both Educan pupils and outside students: Portuguese, Dutch, Mandarin, French, Russian, homework club, mindfulness, art and design technology, science experiments, cooking, engineering, computing and physical education. The school also offers tutoring support delivered by experienced qualified teachers. Educan publishes its fees for the 2026/2027 school year on its own site and takes bookings for building tours and open days ahead of enrolment. It is based at Rua de Portugal n.3, 8100-554 Loulé.
