What to expect
For riders who want a full day out, our 7-hour sunset ride is the longest tour we offer, covering coastline, beach and inland trails around Aljezur in the Costa Vicentina Nature Park. Routes range from gentle inland trails among the pine woods to more adventurous stretches along the Costa Vicentina cliffs, and in winter or around the full moon, along the sand itself.
We also run dedicated full moon and sunset departures on selected dates, and this ride can be combined with our riding holidays, which pair tours, lessons and accommodation over a minimum of 10 hours of riding between September and May.
Insurance is included in the base price of every activity we run, and all our horses live outdoors year round and are trained using calm, natural horsemanship methods.
