What to expect

We founded Mar Ilimitado in Sagres as a team of marine biologists, and this dolphin watching trip is our most popular outing, run by RIB out of Porto da Baleeira. We operate daily between 09:00 and 18:00 (WEST) under tourism licence RNAAT 88/2010 and cetacean observation permit AOC/31/2022.

Every trip is guided by our marine biology team, who explain the dolphins' behaviour and the wider marine environment as we search the Sagres coastline. The RIB format gives a faster, more agile ride than a catamaran, which can mean more time actually spent with the animals once found.

We also run a longer Seabird Watching trip and a newly added Ocean Safari for guests who want to go further out, plus private charters of our yacht or RIB with crew included.
