What to expect
Buggy Tour Silves Waterways extends Golden Buggy Adventure's route to 3 hours and around 75km, adding water crossings and a run through the Serra do Caldeirao. Guests have the option of a swim at Odelouca Dam along the way, and GoPro footage of the tour is available to take home.
Like the operator's other tours, this route is rated easy difficulty, includes personal accident insurance, and departs from Monte da Joia near Silves after a safety briefing. A valid category B driving licence is required to drive, and passengers can join from age 3.
Bookings run through the FareHarbor system embedded on the site, with pickup available from Albufeira, Portimao, Armacao de Pera, Lagos, Carvoeiro and Alvor.
