What to expect
Buggy Tour Algarve Hills is Golden Buggy Adventure's entry-level route, a 2-hour, 40 to 50km ride crossing the hills above Silves. The tour is led by local guide Mario Cavadas and takes in Silves Castle, the Enxerim windmill and a 360-degree viewpoint at Funcho Dam, with an optional swim in Arade Dam along the way.
The tour is rated easy difficulty and includes personal accident insurance and a safety briefing before departure. A valid category B driving licence is required to drive a buggy, though passengers can join from age 3.
Bookings run through the FareHarbor system embedded on the site, and pickup is available from Albufeira, Portimao, Armacao de Pera, Lagos, Carvoeiro and Alvor as well as the Silves base.
