What to expect
Electric Karting Albufeira Marina runs an all-electric go-kart track built into the underground car park of Albufeira Marina, on Passeio do Ouro. The 400 metre track runs entirely indoors, so racing continues whatever the weather outside.
Races take up to 6 or 7 drivers at a time, with a minimum height of 1.5 metres to drive; racers under 16 need a parent or guardian to sign for them and race at a regulated speed. A medal pack (gold, silver and bronze) is available for EUR 20, complimentary for bookings of 10 or more, and the track also takes private hire, corporate and group bookings.
Walk-ins for 1 to 2 people are welcome without a reservation before 2pm; larger groups of 3 or more are asked to enquire by phone or email to confirm a slot, with a non-refundable deposit required. The track is open Monday to Thursday from 11am to 6pm and Friday to Sunday from 11am to 7pm, with the last race 30 minutes before closing.
