What to expect
We run guided horseback rides from Quinta Baleeira, near Tavira, taking riders out onto the beaches and tidal flats of the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Our routes pass through citrus groves around the yard before reaching the open sand and the shallow lagoon water, and vary with the tide.
We use calm, experienced horses, and no previous riding experience is necessary, which makes us a popular choice for children and first-time riders as well as more confident ones. We run rides every day of the week.
