What to expect
The Grand Safari is Aventura21's full-day tour, giving guests the longest look at the Algarve hinterland the operator offers, in the same open-top Land Rover Defenders used across its safari lineup. The extra time lets the route cover more ground than the half-day tour, taking in old villages, rural roads and viewpoints out of reach in a regular car.
The tour is guided throughout, with stops such as sheep and goat farms and hilltop views along the way. Aventura21 has run safaris from Albufeira since at least 2020 and is registered with CIMAAL, the Algarve consumer arbitration centre.
Bookings are taken by phone or through the contact form on Aventura21's own site; there is no online booking engine.
