About this event

Olhao South Jazz is a brand new festival taking over the Parque Ribeirinho Poente, on the Ria Formosa waterfront, on 24 and 25 July 2026. Gates open at 18:00 and the music runs until midnight across two stages, alongside a market of local crafts and food and drink stands. The debut line-up brings together Aurea, the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve with Raul Reyes and Osvaldo Pegudo, and Catia Ribeiro Trio on the first night, followed by Vania Fernandes and Julio Resende's My Favorite Songs, Sara Badalo Jazz Quintet and Susana Travassos Trio on the second. Tickets cost 10 euros for a single day or 15 euros for both days, with reduced prices for young people and free entry for children under 12.
