Casa Rosa Villa Olhão

Casa Rosa Villa Olhao is a nine-room boutique guesthouse on Avenida da Republica in the centre of Olhao, with a tenth room, a suite, overlooking the swimming pool. Five rooms sit on the ground floor around the pool and four more are upstairs sharing a terrace, all decorated in a bohemian style with triple-glazed windows for a quiet night's sleep. Breakfast is served in the courtyard by the pool, or in the lounge, and features Algarve fruit, locally made bread, meats, cheeses and eggs cooked to order. Guests can borrow bicycles to explore the cycle paths around Olhao and the salt pans, and there's a turn-down service each evening. Between 15 October and 15 April the hotel adds a heated pool at 30 degrees and a sauna as part of a winter wellness offering, alongside massages by reservation. Casa Rosa also runs as an events and retreat venue for part of the year, hosting art and painting retreats, yoga and meditation retreats, photography retreats and fitness and wellbeing retreats, alongside its regular night-by-night hotel bookings. The guesthouse was featured in The Times (UK) in February 2025.
