Claim Olhao Bicentenary Concert: Pechao to manage it, add photos and tickets, and list it under your business. It is free.
To mark 200 years since Olhao became a municipality in 1826, the town council is taking the Orquestra do Algarve and Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve into all four parish churches of the council area over the course of 2026. The Pechao concert, part of the APOS - Musica Classica no Territorio cycle, brings chamber musicians into the parish church for an evening of classical repertoire. The bicentenary programme runs from April to November across every freguesia, pairing these church concerts with exhibitions, a videomapping show and community events. Admission is free.
