Bon Vivant Bar

Bon Vivant has been part of Lagos nightlife since 1987, run from a five-storey building on Rua 25 de Abril in the centre of the old town. The bar spreads guests across several floors and terraces, ending at an open-top roof terrace with views over Lagos, a second cocktail bar and a live DJ. The venue is well known among long-time visitors to the Algarve. Its own site quotes Lonely Planet's description of a "long-standing central bar...far classier than nearby options" that "takes some care over its music" and "shakes up some great cocktails", and cites Thomas Cook naming it among the best bars in Lagos. Bon Vivant serves cocktails and drinks across its levels, with bartenders known locally for flair pours and juggling as part of the show.
