The Argo Cocktail Bar

The Argo is the signature cocktail bar of the 5-star Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, overlooking the marina from within the hotel. It has its own dedicated site and identity, separate from the hotel's general listing, and was named Best Hotel Bar at the Lisbon Bar Show in 2024. The bar's cocktail programme leans into an exploration theme, built around techniques such as freeze distillation and plant-based clarifications, and a spirits collection that includes a Port wine from 1933, a 30 year old Macallan and Louis XIII cognac. Its signature drink, The Argo, is made from phytoplankton and served zero-waste in a glass globe. The team, self-styled as "The Argonauts," includes award-winning bartenders and hosts guest shifts under the "Heroes of Mixology" banner, plus occasional live jazz and blues nights.
