Olhão Markets
Two matching red-brick market halls from 1916 stand side by side on Olhão's waterfront, one for fish, one for fruit and vegetables. This is the Algarve's fishing capital, and the fish hall shows it: tuna, cuttlefish, clams from the Ria Formosa and whatever the fleet landed that morning. On Saturdays, stalls of farm produce line the gardens outside.
