SwimParty 10km, Carvoeiro to Ferragudo

SwimParty 10km sends open-water swimmers along one of the Algarve's most scenic stretches of coast, from the cliffs near Benagil and Carvoeiro through to Ferragudo, on the morning of 12 September. Solo swimmers choose between 5km and 10km, while teams of three can split the 10km course into three legs. Safety cover follows the full route, and the morning wraps up with a beach lunch and celebration for finishers. It is a demanding swim through open water rather than a sheltered bay, so it draws a more serious open-water crowd than the shorter Prova de Mar events elsewhere on the coast, but it doubles as one of the best ways to see the Algarve's limestone cliffs from the water.
