Lagoa Conventual Sweets Fair

Lagoa Municipal Council invites all lovers of traditional sweets to immerse themselves in the sweetness of our history at the 22nd Lagoa Convent Confectionery Exhibition. This initiative offers visitors the opportunity to sample cakes, sweets, jams, honey or classic drinks such as medronho brandy, in a faithfully recreated convent setting. The event celebrates the rich gastronomic heritage of Portuguese convents, with special emphasis on the centuries-old recipes that have shaped the cultural identity of the Algarve region.
