Fun Cup 2026

The Fun Cup returns to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve for a weekend of endurance racing built around cars modelled on the classic Volkswagen Beetle. Every car in the field is built to the same specification, so races turn on teamwork, strategy and consistency rather than raw budget, and the grids are typically packed with dozens of identical looking Beetles nose to tail. It is one of Europe's most popular grassroots endurance championships, drawing amateur and semi professional teams from across the continent, and makes for an entertaining, easy to follow weekend of racing for visitors who might find a full F1 or GT weekend harder to parse. A paddock weekend pass goes on sale from 2 October at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve.
