About this event

Praça do Infante and the nearby Armazém Regimental fill with publishers' stands, secondhand book stalls and a full programme of readings for the Feira do Livro de Lagos, running nightly from 19:00 to midnight. Alongside book presentations and author signings, the programme mixes in storytelling sessions for children, poetry evenings, board games and conversation events, all free to attend. The fair closes with a concert by the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve. It is run by the Câmara Municipal de Lagos with the Biblioteca Municipal Júlio Dantas, and has become one of the town's fixed points of the summer calendar.
