The European Le Mans Series brings its LMP2, LMP2 Pro-Am, LMP3 and LMGT3 prototypes and GT cars to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve for an endurance round on the fast Portimão circuit. Teams and drivers chasing the season's overall and class titles run multi-hour stints through changing conditions, with pit strategy as important as outright pace. The Algarve circuit's elevation changes and blind crests make it one of the more demanding stops on the ELMS calendar, and a good vantage point for watching cars run wheel to wheel through the closing laps.
