Vilamoura Surf School

Vilamoura Surf School was founded in 2006 as the first surf school on Vilamoura Beach in the Algarve. It is certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (record number 325) and registered with Turismo de Portugal under RNAAT number 986/2016. The school teaches surf, stand up paddleboarding, bodyboarding, longboarding, skimboarding and carver skateboarding, in group and private lesson formats, and also rents out boards and wetsuits. Lessons are taught under close supervision, using softboards and modern wetsuits, and students have access to changing facilities and a warm shower after class. The school is open every day of the year, including weekends and holidays, with hours that vary with tides and sea conditions. Its offering also includes multi-lesson packs, surf safaris, surf camps and membership options for regular surfers.
