Lagos Surf Safari

Lagos Surf Safari operates from Estr. da Ponta da Piedade 23, in Lagos, running surf lessons and guided surf trips with daily departures from Lagos and Praia da Luz to beaches on the west and south coasts, depending on conditions. The school has been operating for over 17 years and offers group lessons (maximum 8 surfers per instructor), private lessons (maximum 2 students per instructor), family surfing for children aged 13 and under accompanied by an adult, and a rent-and-ride service for surfers who only need equipment and a lift to the beach. From June to September 2026, surfing packages are priced at EUR 65 for 1 day up to EUR 275 for 5 days; low season group lessons range from EUR 60 to EUR 250 per day, private lessons from EUR 120 to EUR 150 per day per person, and rent-and-ride from EUR 25 to EUR 45 per day. All lessons include credited instructors and sports insurance, and private and group packages include wetsuit, surfboard, snack pack and transport. Bookings run through the school's own FareHarbor booking system. Lagos Surf Safari is affiliated with Banana Beach House Lagos, a surf hostel in the town.
