KH Health & Fitness is a personal training gym at Casa da Encosta No. 1, Sitio Santa Estevao, near Silves, run by owner-operator Karen Hayes, who holds a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification. The gym is an 80 square metre, purpose-built studio set among the hills outside Silves, equipped with a treadmill, rowing machine, free weights, resistance equipment and a functional training rig, with washroom facilities on site. Karen designs a personalised training plan for each client, working around goals such as sport-specific preparation, weight loss, rebuilding fitness, mental wellbeing, energy levels or getting beach-ready, and includes dietary suggestions as part of the plan. There is no membership requirement, the first session is free, and KH Health & Fitness offers a full refund if a client is ever dissatisfied with a session.
