Arrifana Surf School & Camp

Arrifana Surf School & Camp has taught surfing on Arrifana Beach, on the wild west coast of the Algarve near Aljezur, for over 18 years. The school offers group and private lessons for all levels from its base at Urbanização Arrifamar in Aljezur, with a seasonal Beach Hut open directly on Arrifana Beach from May to October for walk-in lessons and equipment rental, sponsored by Billabong. Lesson options include a 2 hour group lesson (EUR 45, reduced from EUR 55), a 3 hour group lesson (EUR 65) and a private lesson (EUR 220, reduced from EUR 260) for one-to-one coaching. For visitors who want to stay longer, the attached Surf Camp offers accommodation a short walk from the beach with breakfast included every morning, surf lessons with the school's coaches, and an international, community atmosphere. Bookings and enquiries are taken by phone or WhatsApp, and the school can also put together bespoke packages combining lessons, camp stays and equipment rental to suit a guest's level, goals and schedule.
