Praia de Santa Eulália lies on the eastern side of Albufeira, golden sand split by low ochre outcrops and backed by umbrella pines. The pines give it a greener, softer setting than most Albufeira beaches, with trees coming down close to the sand in places. Rock spurs divide the beach into distinct sections, each with its own patch of usually calm water, and access is straightforward by ramps and steps. The coast path connects onwards towards Olhos de Água. It is a beach for settling in rather than exploring. It suits families with young children and anyone after a gentler, leafier alternative to the town-centre beaches.
