Once a year, the spring at Fonte Pequena in Alte becomes an open-air stage for the village's children and teenagers. Around fifty young performers take turns showing what they have been working on, from singing and playing instruments to dance, drawing and other forms of performance, in a programme organised by Loulé's municipal museum with the Junta de Freguesia de Alte. It is a small, homegrown event rather than a polished production, closer to a village talent show than a festival, and it draws families from across Alte and the surrounding hills for the evening. The show starts at 21:00 at the Fonte Pequena and is free to attend.
