Soul Food Algarve Catering

Soul Food Algarve Catering is a private chef and catering business based in Almancil, run by Chef Paulo Monteiro, known as Chef Monty. He built the business on 15 years of catering experience across the Algarve, having previously spent three years developing French cuisine with a fusion of Algarvian ingredients at the Ermitage Restaurant in Vale do Lobo (Michelin-starred in 1997). The team caters weddings, private dinners, BBQs and corporate or social events, with services covering welcome drinks and canapes, vegetarian and vegan menus, and full private chef bookings. A downloadable menu spans breakfast, starters, BBQ, finger food, canapes, main courses, desserts, flying buffet, a dedicated veggie menu and take-away options, so clients can build a menu around their event. Through its partnerships, Soul Food also arranges complementary services for events, including equipment hire, cocktails and wine, musicians, florists and wedding planners, so a full event can be organised through one point of contact.
