Guerin

Guerin is a Portuguese car rental brand that started out in 1989 with seven cars and grew its fleet to 400 vehicles within a year. It became part of the Salvador Caetano Group in 1999 and, following a 2012 partnership with Enterprise, has grown into what the company describes as the second largest car rental operator in Portugal, with more than 55 stations across the country, from the Algarve to Porto and the Azores. In the Algarve, Guerin operates a car hire desk at Faro Airport (Aeroporto Internacional de Faro, 8006-901 Faro), open every day from 05:59 to 23:59. The fleet covers passenger cars, commercial vehicles and 9-seater vans, with automatic transmission options, and bookings can be managed online with digital check-in and free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up. Guerin started 2026 by being recognised again with the Five Stars Award in the Car Rental category, a repeat win the company highlights on its own site.
