Marina Rent-a-Car is a family-run car hire business that has operated in the Algarve since 1994, with a head office in Lagos and a second office at Faro Airport. The company serves both holidaymakers and longer-stay visitors, with vehicles available for rental periods from a few days up to three months or more. The fleet spans a wide range, from small economy cars such as the Fiat Panda and Kia Picanto, through compact and estate models, to seven and nine-seater vans (including the Dacia Jogger and Volkswagen Multivan) for larger groups and families. Cars can be delivered to, or collected from, locations across the Algarve, including pick-up and drop-off at Faro Airport. To rent a car, drivers need to be at least 21 years old with a minimum of two years' driving experience, plus a valid passport or ID card and driving licence. Every vehicle is fully insured, with a choice of comprehensive or excess cover, and the company operates a straightforward road toll system and a fair fuel policy.
