YOR Car Hire (legally Auto Rent VI, Lda) is a car rental company with its main office at Faro Airport, in car park P4, only about 150 metres from the terminal, so no shuttle bus is needed to collect the car. The company also delivers rental cars directly to accommodation in Carvoeiro, Praia da Rocha, Albufeira, Alvor, Quarteira, Vilamoura, Lagos and other towns across the Algarve, runs its own office in Alvor on Rua Marques de Pombal, and works with a partner office, Ausocar, at Lisbon Airport and in Entrecampos, Lisbon. Bookings are made online, with payment taken only on collection and no credit card required to reserve (a debit card is accepted for the deposit). There is no cancellation fee, and the company operates a same to same fuel policy, with a saving of 6 cents a litre at GALP stations. Customers can add no excess, full coverage insurance, and the company says it will handle the paperwork and arrange a replacement car if there is ever an accident or a claim. YOR Car Hire advertises a 25 percent discount for booking online, a 10 percent discount for referring a friend, and partner discounts of around 10 percent off restaurants, B&Bs and activities including skydiving and water parks, plus a 2 for 1 zoo ticket. The company reports a 4.9 out of 5 rating from more than 1,400 reviews. Contact in Portugal is by phone on +351 969 787 039 or +351 969 777 854, from 9am to 6pm, or by email at info@yor-car.com.
