The Portugal Invitational brings PGA TOUR Champions golf to the Algarve for the first time, played over the newly reshaped Els Club Vilamoura course designed by Ernie Els on the site of the former Victoria course. Some of the biggest names from golf's over-50s tour compete over three rounds from Friday to Sunday. It is the first PGA TOUR Champions event ever staged in Portugal and takes over from the Portugal Masters as Vilamoura's flagship professional golf week, with practice rounds, a pro-am and tournament play across the weekend. Spectators can walk the course on a single-day ticket or buy a weekend pass covering all three days. Under 16s go free with a ticketed adult.
