Akvavit

Restaurante Akvavit has traded on Vilamoura Marina since 1990, making it one of the longest-running restaurants on the strip. It is run as a family business, from the kitchen team through to service and management, and the menu is built around traditional Portuguese cooking with fresh fish and seafood at its centre, alongside a dedicated snacks menu and separate English, French and Portuguese menu cards. The restaurant occupies Edificio Vilamarina, Loja 4, directly on the marina, with a deck looking out over the boats and a comfortable indoor bar. It opens daily from 09:00 to 17:00 (kitchen until 16:00) and again from 19:00 to midnight (kitchen until 22:30), and takes reservations directly through a form on its own website with name, contact details and preferred time slot. Akvavit closes for an annual break each winter, typically from mid-November into late December, and reopens for the new season.
