Faro's old town turns into a nine stage showcase of Portuguese music for the last big festival of summer.
Is this your event?
Claim Festival F 2026 to manage it, add photos and tickets, and list it under your business. It is free.
Festival F fills the streets, courtyards and squares of Faro's Vila Adentro with multiple stages of contemporary Portuguese language music, alongside performing arts, an author market, exhibitions and street food. Billed as the last big festival of the summer, it draws acts spanning pop, hip hop, fado inflected songwriting and dance music. The 2026 edition marks the 11th year of the festival, running from 3 to 5 September across the historic walled centre near the cathedral and castle, with gates opening in the evening and the party running into the small hours. Daily and multi day passes go on sale in advance through the festival's usual ticket channels, with free entry for young children. Exact set times and the final line up are published closer to the date on the official festival site.
