About this event

Almancil's biggest summer date brings three nights of free entertainment to the Jardim das Comunidades, opening on Friday with a parade celebrating the parish's cultural diversity, sets from Batucadeiras and Danças Araguaney, and concerts by César Matoso & Allcante and the duo Valter e Canário before singer Maninho headlines at 22:30. Saturday brings dance performances from the Academia de Dança do Algarve, AllDance Academy and Orquestra Garvefolc, a fire show from Mulher do Fogo, and a headline set from Soraia Ramos. Sunday closes the festival with Al-Fanfare, the Rancho Folclórico de Loulé and the Marcha de Almancil, before Marisa Liz takes the stage to finish the weekend. Stalls sell regional food and crafts throughout, with activities for children each evening. The gardens are in the centre of Almancil, an easy stop for anyone based around Vale do Lobo or Quinta do Lago.
