About this event

Festa e Feira de Setembro is one of Sao Bras de Alportel's oldest traditions, older than living memory according to the town council, and returns every year to Parque Roberto Nobre on the first Sunday of September. Stalls sell local produce and crafts, with the flavours of the surrounding serra given pride of place. In recent years the council has revived the day with a fuller entertainment programme alongside the market, turning what was a quiet local fair back into a proper community gathering. Entry is free.
