WOOFF Charity Shop

WOOFF, short for "Worn Only Once Fashion & Furniture", is a second-hand charity shop run entirely in aid of Animal Rescue Algarve (ARA), a registered charity (No. 514692049, based in Loulé) dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned dogs and cats. WOOFF has three shop locations: the flagship shop at Rua Cristóvão Pires Norte A in Almancil, close to Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, a second shop in Loulé opposite Lidl (under the veterinary hospital), and a third in Troto, on the EN125 opposite the Herança dos Sabores pastry shop. All three shops sell donated clothing, furniture and books, with stock drawn largely from residents of the surrounding resort areas. The shops are run mostly by volunteers, so besides rent and utilities almost every euro taken over the counter goes directly back into ARA's rescue work. WOOFF is always looking for new volunteers to help with shifts in any of its three shops; no previous retail experience is required and full training is given. The shops are open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm and Saturday from 10am to 1pm. Enquiries, including about volunteering, go through the Almancil shop's phone line or WhatsApp.
