Wok Algarve is a large all-you-can-eat Asian buffet in Vale de Paraíso, on the Estrada de Ferreiras between Albufeira and Guia. The format is simple: one price, eat as much as you like, with a long line of ready-made Chinese and pan-Asian dishes plus live cooking stations at the heart of the room. Pick your own raw meat, fish and seafood, including clams, mussels and prawns, and the chefs stir-fry it in open woks or cook it on the grill while you wait. The spread also takes in a sushi selection, salads, plenty of fruit and desserts, and options for vegetarians and children, which is what makes it work so well for mixed groups: everyone at the table can eat something different. The dining room is spacious and built for volume, private rooms can be booked for birthdays and group meals, and there is free parking outside, a rare luxury this close to Albufeira in summer.
