Vinyl Boutique Records

Vinyl Boutique Records is the Algarve's dedicated record shop, tucked into unit 31 of the Galerias Dona Leonor arcade on Avenida José da Costa Mealha, in the centre of Loulé. Opened in May 2022, it is run by two lifelong collectors: Brian Jutsum and Boz Boorer, founder of The Polecats and best known as Morrissey's long-time guitarist and musical director. The racks hold more than 3,000 records spanning the 1950s to the present day. LPs, 45s, CDs and music merchandise cover every taste, from Diana Dors to the Sex Pistols, with much of the stock drawn from the owners' own collections. They buy as well as sell, and are happy to look at single records or whole collections over the counter. Between visits the shop trades worldwide through its Discogs store, where prices run from one-euro bargains to serious rarities. The shop opens Thursday and Friday afternoons, 13:00 to 18:00.
