Vilamoura Sailing Centre

Vilamoura Sailing Centre is a dinghy sailing training base in the Marina de Vilamoura, on Portugal's south coast. The centre describes itself as the largest dinghy sailing centre in the world, and in 2024 it reported reaching 10,000 sailors from 86 countries training there since opening. Its 7,000 square metre boat park has 24 hour security, alongside a gym, bicycle rental, conference rooms, airport shuttle services and long term covered storage for teams. The training fleet includes coach RIBs, 470 dinghies, ILCA dinghies and J70 keelboats, supported by permanent coaching staff and a year round calendar of regattas and ranking events, including Olympic qualification regattas. The centre is supported by Prow Group, a sports events organiser, and also runs a Youth Sailing Hub aimed at developing junior sailors.
