Tupuq

Tupuq is a restaurant in Olhos de Água, within the Masana Algarve private estate. It serves traditional Portuguese food with a twist, in a dining room with a terrace, gardens and views over the Atlantic Ocean, and has a lounge area for the sunset. The site describes the concept as "Cozinha de Sala", or living room kitchen, which aims to break down the barrier between chef and guest. Dishes named on the site include octopus confit, oysters from the Ria Formosa, rack of lamb with a cornbread crust, black pork with chorizo oil and Algarve orange cake. There is also a signature cocktail list. Guests who are not staying at Masana are welcome for dinner, and reservations are recommended. Tupuq also offers private dining and beach picnic experiences, and runs the beach club Casa da Praia by the pool.
