The Curtain Centre

The Curtain Centre is a curtain, blind and soft furnishings showroom in Pereiras, Almancil, working with more than 20 European fabric suppliers to offer what it describes as one of the largest fabric selections in the Algarve. Its own tagline sums up the service: 'We measure, we make, we fit', and the team, with more than 30 years of combined experience in the soft furnishing trade, provides a free estimate on a first visit if customers bring their window dimensions. The showroom supplies and fits curtains, poles and tracks (manual, pulley or electric), plus a full range of blinds, including wooden and metal Venetian, vertical, roller and Roman blinds. Before any curtain work begins, windows are remeasured free of charge by Barrie, to confirm fullness, length and the right hanging system for the space. The Curtain Centre also makes headboards, bed covers, cushions and valances, offers a re-upholstery service for sofas and chairs, and stocks outdoor fabrics and rugs with UV and waterproof properties, made to measure, alongside a complementary range of carpets and rugs. The showroom is at Estrada das Escanchinas, Loja B, Edifício Mendonça, in Pereiras, Almancil, open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm (through lunch).
