Tapas e Lendas

Tapas e Lendas is a tapas and petiscos restaurant on Rua Doutor Manuel Arriaga, a short walk from Olhao's fish and produce market. The name (tapas and legends) points to its concept: small plates built around the folklore of Olhao, served in a relaxed, informal room with air conditioning and an outdoor terrace. The kitchen mixes Portuguese home cooking with Spanish, Argentinian and wider Mediterranean influences, working from a printed menu available as a PDF rather than a fixed daily card. Photos on the restaurant's own site show a Queimada da Floripes (a flambeed spiced-spirit ritual) and evenings of live music, alongside the everyday service of tapas, salads, and grilled fish and meat. Tapas e Lendas is open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner (11:00 to 15:30 and 18:30 to midnight) and Monday evening only (17:00 to midnight), closed on Sunday. There is no reservation system, tables are first come first served, and the restaurant takes cash and debit card only, alongside takeaway.
