Rosado Advogados is a Portuguese law firm founded in 1978 by Dr. José Rodrigues Rosado, with its head office spread over four floors in the centre of Portimão at Rua Direita 43, 4º, 8500-624 Portimão. The firm also runs offices in Carvoeiro (Rua do Barranco, Edifício Aurorasol, Bloco 1, Loja B, 8400-508 Carvoeiro, Lagoa), Lagos (Rua José Afonso, Lote 23, Loja B, 8600-601 Lagos) and Faro (Rua de Santo António n.º 2 A, 2º andar, 8000-283 Faro). The firm is led by Senior Partner Dr. Pedro Rosado, a Law and Tax professor at the University of Algarve who began his career as a tax consultant for Arthur Andersen. The team, which also includes Alexandra Rosado, Fátima Lopes, Tiago Valdire Lopes, Ana Lourinho Xavier and Marco Nobre, is multilingual, working in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Its main areas of activity are acquisition of immovable property in Portugal, corporate law and contracts, mortgages, rental licences, wills and probate, Golden Visa applications, and taxation matters, including the tax exemption scheme for new residents. The Portimão headquarters also houses the firm's own Taxation and Accounting departments, with lawyers, solicitors and tax advisers visiting the Carvoeiro and Lagos offices weekly, by appointment.
