O Antonio

O Antonio is a traditional Portuguese restaurant in Moncarapacho, on Avenida Dona Maria Lizarda Palermo, serving both everyday and more gourmet versions of local cooking. The dining room is air-conditioned, with outdoor seating also available, and the restaurant has built a following that includes regular visitors from across Europe as well as locals. The kitchen works from a changing printed menu, available as a PDF from the restaurant, and O Antonio was reviewed by The Portugal News in July 2023 for its take on Algarve cooking. O Antonio is open Monday to Friday for lunch (12:00 to 14:45) and dinner (18:30 to 22:00), and closed on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are taken by phone, and the restaurant accepts cash, contactless and card payments.
