Rei das Praias

Rei das Praias has been serving fresh fish and seafood from the Algarve coast on Praia dos Caneiros, in Ferragudo, for 49 years. The restaurant describes itself as having grown out of a passion for combining good food with the setting of the beach, and it now spans three distinct spaces: the main restaurant, a beach bar, and a rooftop dining area, each looking out over one of the more sheltered coves on this part of the coast. Alongside the seafood menu and wine list, the restaurant runs a beach bar from 10:00 to 23:00 and serves food in the restaurant and on the rooftop from 12:30 to 23:00. It also has a connected boutique shop and hosts private events, and takes reservations either online through its own booking page or by phone.
