Pão da Aldeia

Pão da Aldeia has been baking in Albufeira since 1996, run as a family bakery that describes itself as bringing 'the true taste of traditional bread' to the town's tables. The business has grown to three locations: the original Fábrica on Rua de Dunfermline, a second shop at Oura on Avenida dos Descobrimentos, and a third inside the Retail Park de Albufeira in Guia. The counters run from crusty artisan breads and rolls through to a full pastelaria case: pastéis de nata, cream and fruit tarts, chocolate eclairs, meringues and Bolas de Berlim. Seasonal specialities include Bolo Rei at Christmas and Folar at Easter, and the bakery's own product photography also shows layered fruit gateaux and chocolate cherry cakes suited to birthdays and other celebrations. Pão da Aldeia lists catering for weddings, christenings and birthdays among its services, alongside its everyday bakery and pastelaria counters. It is open daily across its three sites (Fábrica 7:00 to 20:30, Oura 7:30 to 21:00, Retail Park 8:30 to 22:00) and keeps its own Facebook page alongside its website.
