MAR Shopping Algarve

MAR Shopping Algarve sits on Avenida do Algarve in Loulé, open daily from 09:00 to 23:00 (phone +351 289 247 842). According to its own operator, Ingka Centres (part of the IKEA group), it is the first shopping centre in Portugal to combine a shopping centre, a designer outlet and a fully integrated IKEA store on one site, together making up the Algarve's largest retail destination. The centre is anchored by the largest Primark store in the country and the first Starbucks to open in the Algarve, alongside Cinemas NOS with the latest projection and sound technology, a LEGO Fan Factory experience, and open green areas designed to be pet-friendly. Shoppers can also use the centre's Meeting Place services, including flight and transport information, gift cards and a floor-plan guide to the mall. Next door, the open-air Designer Outlet Algarve is built in the style of a traditional Algarve village, giving visitors a different shopping experience to the enclosed mall. MAR Shopping, the Designer Outlet and IKEA Loulé run joint EXTRA discount days on the last Thursday of every month. MAR Shopping Algarve is reachable by the EVA Faro-Loulé bus line, by VAMUS Algarve services (routes 2, 10, 59, 68 and 118), or by car via the A22 (exit 13) and the N125-4 towards Loulé South.
