Kutchenhaus Algarve

Kutchenhaus Algarve is run by Karl Donovan, who first opened a Kutchenhaus store in South Manchester in 2018 and has owned property in Vale do Lobo since 2014. He started the Algarve business in July 2022 from a small office with just his kitchen samples and a laptop, describing it in an interview with The Portugal News as the first Kutchenhaus showroom in the Algarve and, at the time, in Europe outside the UK. The showroom sells fitted kitchens from Kutchenhaus, the German kitchen brand backed by manufacturer Nobilia, from a base at Sitio dos Quartos, Loule. The business has since added an outdoor kitchen line in partnership with Fogher, an Italian outdoor kitchen maker based in the Dolomites, alongside its own Three87 bespoke outdoor kitchens. Kutchenhaus Algarve offers two Fogher systems: the Laras, a modular system that can be configured to different layouts, and the Agher, a fixed 2.4 metre set module, both built for cooking and dining outside year-round in the Algarve climate.
