Kit & Caboodle

Kit & Caboodle is a pre-loved and upcycled furniture retailer founded in 2018, with two showrooms in the Algarve: a 700 square metre warehouse-style store in Almancil, next to the Algarve Express Transport & Removals premises, and a more styled boutique shop in Alcantarilha that opened in March 2024. The Almancil warehouse, managed by Lucia Gasparinha, holds an ever-changing selection of pre-loved sofas, chairs, tables, beds, textiles and home decoration, alongside a handcrafted range including commission pieces, pallet wood creations and up-cycled furniture. The Alcantarilha store, managed by Andres Del Rio, pairs a more curated furniture selection with a cosy cafe and a refill centre for eco-friendly household products such as floor cleaner and fabric softener. Kit & Caboodle is also a stockist of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and accessories. In-house painter Lucia Patricio hand-paints furniture using the range, and the business runs regular Annie Sloan painting workshops at both locations for customers who want to learn to upcycle their own pieces. Furniture can be bought in person or ordered online with delivery, and the business also buys furniture directly from sellers. The Almancil warehouse is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 5.30pm, and Saturday 10am to 1pm (closed Sundays and bank holidays). The Alcantarilha store is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, and Saturday 10am to 5.30pm (closed Sundays, open on bank holidays). All items are sold as seen, and the business offers delivery quotes for orders outside the Algarve.
